Mary Yvonne Killom, 85, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Saturday October 24, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday October 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Lee Trice, Bryon Trice, Dylan Fiscus, Jeff Hogan, Brandon Perry, and Paeton Hurst serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Killom was born August 24, 1935 in Stewart County to the late Virgil Wayne and Hazel Ludie Travis Cherry. She was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School Class of 1952, and then went on to work for National Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Cedar Hill Church of Christ and was a retired contract cleaner with Dupont. Mrs. Killom loved bowling, doing Find A Word’s, and reading her Bible.
Mrs. Killom is survived by her son: Donald C. (Donna) Killom, Jr., of Springfield, by her daughters: Sharon Killom Wooden of Springfield, Laraine Killom Worley of Greenbrier, Rhonda Killom (Miles) Pence of Springfield, by her brother: Phillip Wayne Cherry of Adams, by her sister: Martha Jean Corbin of Springfield, by her grandchildren: April Hogan, Lee Trice, Bryon Trice, and Brandi Perry, by seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
