Wilma Dean (Hudson) Jones

Wilma Dean Jones, age 94 of White House, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhust Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in 2nd Grove CME Church Cemetery with Ryan Jones, Matthew Jones, Brian Jones, Danny Ray Darden, Jamin Williams, and Eural Jones serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12 noon until the hour of service at 2 PM.

Mrs. Jones was born June 2, 1926 in White House to the late Virgil and Rosetta Hutchinson Hudson. She was a member of Second Grove CME Church and was retired from Acme Boot. She was also a farmer and loved to go to church, fish, and work in the garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nural Lee Jones; son, William Thomas Jones; daughter, Betty Ann Darden; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Surviving her are her sons, Bobby Ray Jones of White House, James Allen (Birdie) Jones of White House, and David L. (Faye) Jones of Springfield; daughters, Eural Dean Northington of Springfield and Linda Gail Williams of White House; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

The family suggest, if so desired for memorial contributions to  be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
