William Barry Malone

William Barry Malone, age 66 of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at his home. His remains are to be cremated and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Malone was born December 16, 1957 in Madison to the late Willie D. and Martha Marie Raymer Malone. He was a retired butcher from H. G. Hills and had also worked as a police officer and a security officer. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and going fishing and working on cars. His last few years have been spent mostly taking care of his wife after her sickness.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandra Weaver Malone of Springfield; daughter, Kristy Malone of Lebanon; grandchildren, Hannah Gott and William Gott; sisters, Brenda Mack and husband Doug of Cottontown, Judy Carmen and husband David of Springfield, and Pamela Ness and husband David of Castilian Springs; sisters-in-law, Virginia Summerville and husband Richard of Brentwood and Vivian Camp and husband Darryl of Ringgold, GA; and brother-in-law, Howard Carr of Madisonville, KY.
