Ward Durham

Thomas Ward Durham, age 88 of Adams, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, January 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service. Mr. Durham’s cremains will be buried in Bellwood Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Durham was born April 23, 1936 in Portland to the late Robert Wayne and Allene Freeland Durham. He retired from Nashville Gas Company and was a veteran of the United States Marines. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Burton Durham.

Surviving him are his daughter, Edye Durham of Old Hickory; grandchildren, Jason Williams and Kelly Beth Jones; brother, Richard Durham of Adams; and sister, Sherri Alford of Adams.

The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
