Wanda Baker Shoulders, 62, of Goodlettsville, passed from this life on Friday March 25, 2022, at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Scott Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Kenneth Bottorff, Blake Burton, Dan Opthof, Chris Adkins, Nathan Arnold, and Coty Tobitt serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Wanda was born April 4, 1959, in Springfield. She worked as an inspector in the cleaning and laundry business and was of the Baptist faith. Wanda loved going to yard sales, playing bingo, gardening, go to the Casino, listening to country music, and working puzzles. She was preceded in by her father: Fred L. Baker, by her mother: Juanita Brooksher Kennedy, and by her husband: Ralph Lee Shoulders.
Wanda is survived by her daughters: Michelle (Paul Jenkins) Burton of Greenbrier, Kelly Brown of Goodlettsville, Amanda (Daniel) Opthof of Greenbrier, by her grandchildren: Krista Burton, Mattie Burton, Paul Jenkins, Jr., Braylin Harlan, Austin Owen, Cassidy Owen, Tyler Opthof, Allison Opthof, Derek Opthof, and Christian Opthof, by her great grandchild: Danny Opthof, by her brother: Dwayne (Jackie) Baker of Pleasant View, and by her sisters: Mary Jo (Chris Adkins) Watson of Portland, and Janice Wilkins of Dover.
