Wanda Dean Emerson, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday January 3, 2021 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday January 7th at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Wanda was born December 13, 1950 in Springfield to the late James Roy and Cora Lee Whiting Dean. She was a retired factory assembly worker and was of the Baptist faith. Wanda loved gardening, fishing, going to yard sales and Goodwill, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: James Troy Ray Bowen, and by her siblings: Shadrick Dean, Mike “Jaws” Dean, and Tommy Lemmons. Wanda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: John and Annette Jones of Cross Plains, by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
