Wanda Carter

Wanda Carter, 64, of Springfield, passed from this life on Sunday August 21, 2022, at her home. Her remains will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday September 4, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. at Paradise Ranch and Retreat.  Wanda was born September 4, 1957, in Springfield to the late Wiley and Hazel Wilson Keesee. She was a graduate of Greenbrier High School, had worked in Shipping and Receiving at Five-Star Manufacturing in Springfield, and was of the Baptist faith. Wanda enjoyed her grandchildren and her pets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Christopher Baker, by her stepdaughter: Candice Carter, and by her brother: Dave Benton.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 31 years, Steve Carter of Springfield, by her son: Jason Martin of Goodlettsville, by her grandchildren: Jordan and Connor Martin, by her sister: Sheila Barrow of Springfield, by several nieces and nephews, and by her dog babies that outranked everyone else: Jethro, Tarzan, Minnie, Sandy, and Rasha.
