Vanessa Lauren Lee

Vanessa Lauren Lee, 63, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 9, 2019 at North Crest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday December 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Vanessa was born September 26, 1956 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Wade Franklin and Jeanette Alford Lee. She worked in the food service industry, having been a manager with Krystal and then worked at the former Ponderosa in Springfield. Vanessa loved lighthouses and animals, especially Oscar, her Great Pyrenees.

Vanessa is survived by her brother: Russell Lee of Hendersonville, her lifelong best and dearest friend: Darlene Darrow of Springfield, her close friend: Leigh Anne (Sunshine) Channey of Springfield, and by five nieces and nephews, one great niece, two uncles and three aunts.
