Troy Dean Parks

Troy Dean Parks, age 52 of Springfield, died Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service.

Troy was born August 21, 1968 in Springfield. He was a hard-working man, not only at work but afterwards with his family. Troy, his dad, and his brother were always working on something. He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers during football season. His heart was gold and he loved to cut-up and make you laugh. On the weekends he enjoyed getting out with his wife and stopping for a visit with his daughter and grandkids. His whole family was very important to him, including his work family at Martin Rea.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa “Tracy” Parks of Springfield; daughter, Tiffany Ann Parks-Hudson of Clarksville;  parents, Billy and Doris Parks of Springfield; step-son, Kenny Schutt of Millersville; step-daughters, Brittany Schutt of Madison and Kelsea Poindexter of Lebanon; brother, Todd Parks (Teresa Vick) of Springfield; sisters, Marie (Paul) mason of Springfield and Janet (Jimmy) Myers of Springfield; and grandchildren, Zariyah Parks, Jeremey Hudson, Jr., and Di’Anna Hudson.
