Timothy McDonald Mayes

Timothy McDonald Mayes, age 66 of Springfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his home. His wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date

Timmy was born June 11, 1959 in Springfield to the late Charles Reuben and Betty Thaxton Mayes. He was a heavy equipment Operator with Vulcan Materials Company in Springfield. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing and enjoyed going fishing in his younger years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Arnold.

Surviving him are his wife, Diane Spicer Mayes of Springfield; sons, Timothy Craig (Sarah) Mayes, Charles Anthony Mayes, and Joshua Grant Mayes (Carissa Gant), all of Elkton, KY; step-daughter, Angie (Damion) Crocker of Springfield; brother, Charlie (Debbie) Mayes of Springfield; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
