Terry Russell Gower

Terry Russell Gower, 75, passed from this life on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at Hendersonville Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 13th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Heflin and Brother Eric Drake officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Military Honor's. Pallbearers will be Troy Douglas, Jeff Douglas, J.W. Robertson, Ryan Sherrill, Chris Brown, and Justin Gower. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Terry was born June 3, 1948, in Springfield, to the late Dewell and Emma Lou James Gower. He was a graduate of Jo Byrns High School Class of 1966. Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He was a retired Field Operations Manager for Conveyor’s, and he attended Eastland Heights Baptist Church. Terry enjoyed guns, gardening, hunting, and being on the farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Brad Gower and by his brother: Randy Gower.

Terry is survived by his wife of 48 years: Jean Jackson Gower of Springfield, by is son: Brent Gower of Cedar Hill, by his daughter-in-law: Jessica Gower of Cedar Hill, and by his grandchildren: Kaylynn Gower, Branden Gower, Emma Gower, and Holden Gower.
