Terry Dale Deal

Terry Dale Deal, 74, passed away on Thursday November 19, 2020 at North Crest Health. His remains were cremated, and private family services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Deal was born November 8, 1946 in Dickson to the late Delmer Moore and Vallie Elizabeth Talbert Deal. He graduated from Dickson County High School and then went on to attend and graduate from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. Mr. Deal was a retired computer programmer and had attended Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed history and watching sports, especially the UT Vols and TN Titans. His great pastime was spending time with his Jack Russell, Patches.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Gertrude Newberry Deal, who he was married to for almost 50 years, and by his brother-in-law: Larry Schneider. Mr. Deal is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Thomas and Jodi Deal, by his grandchildren: Amelia Daisy, Jasper, Milo, and Felix Deal, by his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Ann Schneider of Springfield, Horace and Vickie Newberry, Jr.  of Cedar Hill, by his nephews: Jason (Julie) Newberry and Joey (Emily) Newberry, and by his dog, Patches.
