Teresa Yvonne (McClain) Leavell

Teresa Yvonne Leavell, 56, of Springfield, passed from this life on Thursday August 25, 2022, at her home. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Monday August 29th from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.

Teresa was born May 30, 1966, in Springfield. She was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1984, worked as a teacher’s aid at Bransford Elementary, and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Springfield. Teresa loved traveling, especially cruises, watching westerns and TV, especially Gunsmoke and Matlock. She always loved working in the ministry field and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father: L.C. McClain and by her siblings: Jeffrey McClain, James Chase, and Linda Northington.

Teresa leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Don Leavell, whom she would be married to for 36 years on the 30th of this month, by her sons that she loved so much: Stefan Leavell of Cookeville, Caleb (Melissa) Leavell of Smyrna, and Izaiah (Maia Virgino) Leavell of Goodlettsville, by her beloved mother: Annie McClain of Springfield, by her brother: Anthony McClain of Springfield, by her sisters: Lisa McClain of Springfield, Christie McClain of Antioch, Dawn McClain of Springfield, and Tracye Raye of Kansas City, by her dear special friends: Cynthia Dunn, Phillica Humes, Patricia Leavell, and Jan Fisher, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
