Teresa (Morgan) Allen

Teresa Ann Morgan Allen, 73, of Springfield, passed from this life on Tuesday September 21, 2021, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday September 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Bishop Eugene Pitts and Pastor Joseph Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with all of her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Teresa was born June 27, 1948, in Nashville to the late Wallace Leo and Helen Virginia Wade Morgan. She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Apostolic Church in Springfield. Teresa loved shopping, working puzzles, and going to Cracker Barrel to eat. Those that knew her well, knew that she loved to eat ice. Teresa enjoyed going to church and studying God’s word. The two things she loved most in life was Jesus and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Darlena Morgan Choate and Susie Morgan.

Teresa is survived by the love of her life for over 51 years, her husband Joe Allen of Springfield, by her two daughters: Tracey Knuckles and husband Timothy of Adairville, KY, Leanna Traughber and husband Joseph of Adams, by her sister: Michelle Fehrman of Orlinda, by her grandchildren: Tyler Knuckles, Dalton Knuckles, Wyatt Knuckles, Gracie Knuckles, Coby Traughber, and Lindsey Payne, and by her 9 great grandchildren.
