Susann Britton Shearon

Susann Britton Shearon, age 59 of Springfield, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Pugh officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Mike Armes, David Armes, Adam Armes, Bryan Singleton, Jackson Jent, and Todd Tidwell serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4 until8 PM and Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service.
Mrs. Shearon was born July 5, 1956 in Robertson County to the late John and Obera Austin Britton. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a retired property manager with Shoney's. She was a graduate of Austin Peay State University and she loved making and sending cards to mark special events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Faye Britton Armes.
Susann in survived by her husband, Tim Shearon of Springfield; daughter, Bailey Shearon of Independence, MO; and brother, Kenneth Britton and wife, Pat of Simpsonville, SC.
The family request if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to the Arthritis Foundation. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
