Sue Helen (Hillard) Robertson

Sue Helen Robertson, age 90 of Springfield, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. David Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 until 8 PM and Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service. Everyone is asked to please respect the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

Mrs. Robertson was born March 2, 1930 in Carroll County to the late H.C. and Pearl Ceary Hillard. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Springfield and was a retired nurse. She loved flowers and working out in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jessie Brinley and Bruce Robertson; sons, Jackie Dale Brinley and John Mark Brinley; brothers, Bobbie Hillard and James Hillard; and sisters, Lillian Gillingham, Oberlan Johnson, and Della Ann Watson.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Wayne and Faye Brinley of Lebanon and David Joe Brinley of Medina; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Sue and Terry Fitzgerald of Springfield; brothers, Billie Joe Hillard of Bruceton, Norman Lee Hillard of Huntington, and Terry Lee Hillard of Houston, TX; sister, Bonnie Faye Noles of Bruceton; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren
