Sue Bradley (Russell) Denning

Sue Bradley Russell Denning passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

She was born in Franklin, Kentucky on May 21, 1933 to Bradley and Louise Lovell Russell.

Sue was a member of Orlinda Baptist Church and resided in Orlinda for most of her 87 years.  She enjoyed working with her hands and was a talented artist creating everything from being a great seamstress, needle point and sculpting to collecting and refinishing antique furniture and trunks. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Eugene Denning and she is survived by son, Teddy Dale Cook (Kathy) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Rebecca Anne Mullen of Pleasant View, TN; daughter, Donna Gene Denning Price (Wayne) of Clarksville, TN.  In addition, she is survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and close to a hundred nieces and nephews, all of whom she dearly loved and was extremely proud.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Orlinda Cemetery, Orlinda, TN., Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2pm, with Reverend Veronica Dailey officiating. Pallbearers will be Teddy Cook, Jason Spears, Jonathan Spears, Jackson Price, Wayne Price, Cory Cook, John Denning and Phillip Denning.  Honorary pallbearers will be William Spears, Hunter Davenport and Charlie Hanner. 

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at Comfort Care Hospice for their care and love shown to Sue and to the family.  Also much love and appreciation to Carlotta Pollard, longtime friend and faithful caregiver during these difficult days.  Everyone is asked to respect the CDC guidelines for social distancing.
