Obituary
Sherry Measles, 74, of Cross Plains, passed from this life Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her home. Her wishes are to be cremated and there will be no service.
Ms. Measles was born on March 14, 1949, in Murfreesboro, to the late Wiseman D. and Martha T. Vanoy McCormick. She enjoyed loving on her fur babies, and she especially adored Diego. She loved taking the backroads and looking for deer, buffalo, and elk. She was happiest when visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. Sherry also loved watching cop shows and The Bold and the Beautiful in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Measles is preceded in death by her daughter: Cathy Cartwright, brother and sister-in-law: Danny H. and Dorothy McCormick, sisters and brother-in-law: Brenda S. and John Newman, and Connie J. Spurlin.
Sherry is survived by her son: Tony Measles of Salem, Wisconsin, her sister and brother-in-law: Debbie and Jerry Barlow of Cross Plains, her favorite niece: Cissy of Cross Plains, and several other nieces and nephews.
