Sharon (Barry) Rye

Sharon Kaye Barry Rye, 61, of Cross Plains, passed from this life on Monday August 19, 2024, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. In honor of her wishes, her remains will be cremated.

Sharon was born February 2, 1963, in Springfield. She was a graduate of East Robertson High School and was a member of Cross Plains United Methodist Church. Sharon worked many years for Life & Casualty Insurance in Nashville. She loved animals, especially her dogs and pet rabbits. She was preceded in death by her father: Robert D. “Donnie” Barry, and by her son: Christopher Rye.

Sharon is survived by her mother: Martha Stewart Barry of Cross Plains, by her aunts: Sue Iwanowski of Cross Plains, Jamie Hamby of Cross Plains, and Lisa Holcomb of Cross Plains, by  her uncles: Sammy Barry of Cross Plains, and Gary Stewart of Madison, by many cousins, and by the one that outranked everyone else, her Yorkie: Bon Jovi.

Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
