Scott Bowers Obituary

Scott Briggs Bowers, 62, of Cottontown, died Monday December 26, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital West. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday December 29th at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Scott was born July 21, 1954 in Dewitt, Arkansas to the late Powell Clayton and Billy Lou Johnson Bowers. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Scott was the owner and operator of Scott B. Bowers & Associates. He was of the Methodist faith. Scott enjoyed boating and traveling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Terry Joe Bowers.

Scott is survived by his husband: Ed Gibbs of Cottontown, nephew: Jeff Bowers of Seattle, WA, and by the loves of his life, his two dachshunds: Maggie & Molly.
