Sarah (Hulsey) Bedwell

Sarah Elizabeth Hulsey Bedwell, 85, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Friday May 5, 2023, at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday May 10th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Timmy Fugate, Tyler Fugate, Gabe Fugate, Thomas Young, Stephen Howerton, and John Jackson, Jr., serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Sarah was born February 24, 1938, in Cross Plains, to the late William Harvey and Lillie Fisher Hulsey. She was a homemaker and worked mowing commercial grass for over 30 years. Sarah enjoyed fishing, listening to gospel music, and being with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ronnie Bedwell, and by several siblings.

Sarah is survived by her niece and caregiver: Becky Jackson of Greenbrier, by her niece: Margie Pruitt of St. Cloud, FL, by her nephew: Timmy Hulsey of Springfield, by her niece: Pam Carter of Cross Plains, by her nephew: Dale Hulsey of Cross Plains, by her nephew: Bobby Pentecost of Cross Plains, by her niece; Diane Kopulos of Springfield, and by her great nieces and nephews that she helped raise: Carolyn Young Howerton of Greenbrier, Frances Young Fugate of Greenbrier, Thomas Young of Greenbrier, and Randy Young of Greenbrier.
