Mr. Honeycutt was born May 26, 1952, in Robertson County to the late Claude Thomas Honeycutt and Mary Jane “Janie” Williams Honeycutt. At an early age, Ronnie professed his faith in Jesus Christ. He was saved, joined White Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and was baptized in Mansker Creek on the same day.

Ronnie was a graduate of Greenbrier High School, where he played trumpet in the band. He was also a talented guitarist, singer, and songwriter. Ronnie enjoyed reading. Ronnie was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Paula Cothran Honeycutt on June 21, 1997. They shared 15 happy years together until her death in 2012.
