Rodger Dale Morgan, 78, of Greenbrier, passed away on Wednesday March 12, 2025, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 17th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Chaplain Alec Cort officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with Timmy Jones, Thomas Binkley, Bill Fowler, Dennis McGlothern, Jim Smythe, Logan Whitehouse, Hunter Mayo and Monty Choate serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Rodger was born June 10, 1946, in Ridgetop, to the late Joe and Margaret Warren Morgan. He was of the Baptist faith, he served in the U.S. Army, and was retired from trucking and carpentry. Rodger was always a jokester, and he enjoyed fishing, and he loved being with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Joe Bratton Morgan, Jr., Don Morgan, Beverly Jones, Deborah Norris, and Robert Morgan.
Rodger is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: David and Ranita Morgan of Greenbrier, by his daughter and son-in-law: Robin and Danny Mayo of Portland, by his grandchildren: Brandy Binkley, Tiffany (Joe) Carter, Hunter Mayo, Chelsey (Ryan) Neville, and Ashley (Aaron) Bidwell, by his nine great grandchildren, by his sister and brother-in-law: Jeanette and L.J. Hogan of Springfield, and by the mother of his children: Sandra Kaye Morgan of Greenbrier.
