Robert Lynn Cain, age 63 of Springfield, died Saturday, June 1, 2019 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. His remains are to be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Highland Chapel Union Church in Ridgetop with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Cain was born June 6, 1955 in Davidson County to the late Sam and Jessie Davis Cain. He loved the Lord and was a member of Highland Chapel Union Church. He was a carpenter by trade. He loved his family and friends and tried his best to make them happy by caring for them and with his sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Cain, and a sister, Edith Cain.
He is survived by and in his words, “Still alive and kicking” are his daughters, Candace Wilson of Springfield and Amanda Mooring and her husband, Chris of Orlinda; grandchildren, Kaylee Wilson, Caymon Wilson, Skylar Mooring, and Jaylynn Mooring; brother, Charles Cain; and sisters, Mary Cain Allen West and Susan Cain.
