Ricky Lynn Hester, age 58, of Springfield, died Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his home. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday June 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Darrell King officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 27th from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Robertson County Funeral Home.
Ricky was born on December 20, 1961 to the late William Eugene Hester, and Shelby Shepard Hill. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by their spouses Carol Hester, and Harry Hill, his maternal grandparents Comer and Learlean Shepard, and his paternal grandparents Henry and Cora Hester. Ricky was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. He loved University of Tennessee sports, Jo Byrns High School Football, and was a big fan of the rock band KISS. He was retired from Unarco.
Ricky is survived by his wife of 36 years; Janie Hester of Springfield, sisters; Sheila and Bill Locke of Springfield, and Selena and Mitch Orr of Springfield, father and mother-in-law Chester and Betty Fuqua of Springfield, sisters-in- law; Lisa and David Sullivan of Springfield, Ann and Chipper Ellis of Springfield, brother-in-law; Mike Fuqua of Greenbrier, a special cousin that was like a brother; Gary Albright of Clarksville, nieces and nephews; Hannah and Dustin Thomas, Peyton and Ron Kemper, Cody and Ashley Ellis, Ashley and Chris Hooper, and Kelly Fuqua, and great nieces and nephews; Kloe Thomas, Dawson Kemper, Bella Buck, Maxton Hawkins.
