Richard Lee Douglas

Richard Lee Douglas, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday April 23, 2020 at North Crest Medical Center. A private family graveside service will be conducted on Monday April 27th in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Tim Harris officiating.

Richard Lee was born April 10, 1950 in Cedar Hill to the late Dixie Lee and Jewel Dean Armes Douglas. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years for the Robertson County Highway Department and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Tom and Anna Lou Knight Douglas, Herman Armes, and Ina Lee Beason Armes Brooksher, and by his step-grandfather: Mason Brooksher.

Richard Lee is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Wilma Diane Douglas Swindell and Frank Swindell of Springfield, and by several cousins and friends.
