Rebecca "Peggy" (Garrison) Dillehay

Rebecca Dale “Peggy” Dillehay, 84, of Springfield and formerly of Adairville, KY, passed from this life on Tuesday July 9, 2024, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 12th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Freudenthal officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville, KY, with Timmy Engler, Tommy Engler, J.R. Traughber, Matthew Traughber, Michael Cohea, and Matthew Cohea serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Traughber, Lynn Traughber, Michael Traughber, Eddie Traughber, John Traughber, Bruce Traughber, Paul Traughber, Jeff Traughber, Seth Getchell, and Jackie Engler. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Peggy was born June 25, 1940, in Adairville, KY, to the late John Price and Mary Azalee Allen Garrison. She was a graduate of Adairville High School Class of 1959, was a homemaker, was a past member of the Logan County Home Demonstration Club and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Adairville, KY. Ms. Peggy loved cooking, sewing, crafts, gardening, reading, and watching her soap operas on TV, especially Days Of Our Lives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Russell Ray Dillehay, and by her siblings: Ernest Garrison, Robert Garrison, William Garrison, and Marie Traughber. Ms. Peggy is survived by her son: Brian Dillehay of Clarksville, by her daughter: Leigh Ann Dillehay of Springfield, and by her grandchildren: Katie Dillehay, Sarah Parkhurst, Emily Dillehay, and Larkin Shoulders.
