“ReRun” Donald Hart, age 66 of Springfield, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Jeff Benton and Clyde Dean officiating. Burial of cremains will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 AM until the time of service.
“ReRun” was born September 10, 1957 in Millington, TN to the late Maurice and Nancy Kennedy Hart. He was a member of Flewellyn Baptist Church where he was very active and enjoyed the small groups, even hosting them in his home. He also enjoyed antiques, steel wheel tractors, and airplanes. He was a retired mechanic machinist from Dean Oil Company. He had also worked at Springfield Auto Parts and Don Porter Equipment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Maberry.
Surviving him are his wife, Jeannie Hart of Springfield; daughters Lori (John) Wallis of Clarksville and Alyssa (Brad) Fisher of Greenbrier; brothers, Jeff (Debbie) Hart of Greenbrier and Marcus Hart (Earin Verdin) of Madison; grandchildren, Michael, Colin, Cameron, Cheyenne, Kaylee, and Aiden; and many special unofficially adoptive children.
The family request, if so desired, for memorial contributions to be made to either the Open Door Pregnancy Center or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. All donations may be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
