Margaret Ellen “Peggy” Overstreet, 79, of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Thursday November 10, 2022, at Signature Healthcare Center in Clarksville. Her remains will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.

Peggy was born May 8, 1943, in Chicago, IL to the late Frank and Jane Hammond. She was a retired dispatcher with Mid Cumberland and was of the Catholic faith. Peggy enjoyed bowling, picture painting, and playing the organ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Lee Roy Overstreet, and by her brother: Craig Hammond.

Peggy is survived by her son: Tim Overstreet of Clarksville, by her daughters and sons-in-law: Tracey and Tony Boles of Dover, Lea Ann and Neil Crockett of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Ryan Boles, Dylan Boles, Tyler Boles, Alec Granata, and Olivia Allen, and by her 6 great grandchildren with #7 arriving in January of 2023.
