Pauline Gezley, age 99 of Springfield, TN died Sunday December 1, 2019 at NHC Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday December 3, 2019 in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Home with Bro. Adam Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Donnie West, J.D. West, Kenny West, Barry Ray West, Jacob Gezley, Allan Ray Keymon and Terry Johnson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 am until the hour of service at 2 pm.
Mrs, Gezley was born January 1, 1920 in Robertson County to the late Mary Spry Yates and Lonzo Yates. Her husband, Harold Lloyd Gezley; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Blaylock; son, Irby “Butch” Baldwin and several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress but was always a homemaker. She loved all kinds of animals, domestic and exotic, reminding many of a zoo.
Pauline, is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie “Bubba” and Kim Gezley of Springfield, daughters, Martha Keymon of Coopertown, TN and Carney Sue West of Dover, TN, thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
