Patricia (Dorris) Walker

Patricia Mae Dorris Walker, 77, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday February 27, 2023, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday March 1st at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with family and friends officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Victor Dupuis, Michael Dupuis, Brandon Webb, Riley Duncan, Charlie Gutierrez, and Kevin Hutton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pat was born August 23, 1945, in Orlinda, to the late Oscar Lee and Sylvia Long Dorris. She worked many years for Wilson Sporting Goods in Springfield, and then retired as an inspector with IAC in Springfield. Pat loved growing flowers, bird watching, shopping, and she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Walker, her sister: Delores Perdue, and her grandchild: Chasitey Walker.

Pat is survived by her daughters: Cathy Brooks of Springfield, Connie Denise Hagler and husband Ricky of Springfield, and Risha Walker of Springfield, by her brother and sister-in-law: R.L. and Myrtle Dorris of Springfield, by her grandchildren: Victor and Michael Dupuis, Michelle Delacruz, Nikki Shoumake, and Marlita Davis, by her great grandchildren: Emmie and Elliot Dupuis, Aidan Shoumake, Lilah, Penelope, and Sebastian Davis, and by her best friends: Charlie Gutierrez of Springfield and Vicki Hallman of Springfield.
