Nellie "Nell" (Winters) Lambert

Nellie Lambert, 88, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday March 23, 2020 at North Crest Medical Center. A private family graveside service will be conducted in Springfield Memorial Gardens on Friday March 27th with Tim Harris officiating.

Mrs. Lambert was born March 3, 1932 in Toccopola, MS to the late Elbert Brooks and Lois Eva Wilson Winters. She was a retired seamstress from Wilson Sporting Goods and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She dedicated her life to her animals and to taking care of others, especially her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Marvin Lambert, by her brothers: Roy D. and Elbert Wilson Winters, by her sister: Lois Era Wilkinson, and by her grandson: Damien Matthew Rogers. Mrs. Lambert is survived by her sons: Robert Ray Lambert of Springfield, and George L. Rogers, Jr., of Cross Plains, by her grandchildren: George L. Rogers, III, Justin Ray Lambert, and Christopher Landon Lambert, and by 4 greatgrandchildren.
