Nancy Ann Redfearrin, age 79 of Cross Plains, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Plains Cemetery with Dalton Pigg, Jerrid Traughber, J.C. Traughber, Rusty Graves, Buzz Graves, and Mike Webb serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 AM until the hour of service.
Mrs. Nancy was born July 16, 1941 in Portland to the late Sam Burgan and Bessie Louise Hicks Graves. She was a member of Cross Plains Methodist Church. She and her husband owned Graves Market in Cross Plains at one time and then she was the owner of Granny’s Kitchen in Cross Plains for several years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and took great joy in cooking and feeding folks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Redfearrin; a grandson, Eric Hulsey; and a son-in-law, Chris Compton.
She is survived by her husband, Horace Redfearrin of Cross Plains; daughter, Nancy “Missie” Compton of Cross Plains; granddaughters, Crystal Traughber of Cross Plains and Aleshia Hendricks of Westmoreland; and great grandchildren, Dalton Pigg, Drake Curtis, Lukas Traughber, Aria Lynch, Lane Hulsey, Colby Hulsey, J.C. Traughber, and Olivia Traughber.
