Mildred Jackson Obituary

Mildred Webster Jackson, 95, of Madison, passed from this life on Wednesday June 24, 2026, at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Adams. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday June 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Spain officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Plains Cemetery with her grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Mildred was born June 9, 1931, in White House, to the late Ernest McCoy and Bertha Louella Bryant Webster. She was a graduate of Coopertown High School, was a member of Grace Freewill Baptist Church, and was a retired lab technician at Jesse Holman Jones Hospital. Ms. Mildred loved going to the mountains and to the beach. She loved spending time with her family and loved her dogs dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Willard G. “Pete” Jackson, Sr., by her daughter: Mary Elizabeth (Henry) Hall, by her grandson: Henry R. Hall, Jr., by her stepmother: Mary Morton Webster, by her son-in-law: Eddie Mack White, Sr., and by her siblings: Edith Stricklin, Louise Powell, Geneva Carroll, Phyliss Flatt, Richard Webster, Earl Webster, and Ernest “Punk” Webster. Ms. Mildred is survived by her children: W. Glenn Jackson, Jr., of Cross Plains, Thomas Dale Jackson of Springfield, Cheryle White of Cross Plains, Theressa (Randy) Searcy of Cross Plains, Edith (Sammy) Claborn of Cedar Hill, by her siblings: Charles (Keiko) Webster of Springfield, Jackie (Kay) Webster of Springfield, and Emily Webster Jackson of Cedar Hill, by her 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 30 great great grandchildren, by her special friend: Effie Welch of Madison, by her fur baby: Kiss, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
