Michael Joseph Carl “Mike” Glodoski, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Friday May 22, 2026, at the home of his daughter in Portland. His wishes were to be cremated, and a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 4, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Franklin, KY. The family will receive friends on Thursday June 4th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Franklin, KY. An addition Memorial Mass will be conducted on Friday July 24, 2026, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Stevens Pointe, WI at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Friday July 24th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Stevens Pointe. His remains will then be laid to rest in the Guardian Angel Cemetery in Steven’s Point, WI, where he will join his mother and father.
Mike was born January 10, 1953, in Stevens Pointe, WI, to the late Carl and Florence Wojciehoski Glodoski. He was a graduate of PJ Jacobs High School Class of 1971. He retired after working for grocery chains like Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and IGA (Independent Grocers Alliance) as a meat manager and butcher, was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Franklin, KY, was a member of St. Vincent DePaul, and was a member of Moose Lodge #1572, where he served as a past president and past district president. Mike enjoyed anything that allowed him to be outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, golfing, grilling, and camping. He always enjoyed a good bon fire and a “cold one” while spending time with his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years: Betty Glodoski of Springfield, by his sons: Tim Glodoski of Adairville, KY and Jeff (Allison) Glodoski of Springfield, by his daughters: Amy Birdwell of Portland and Barbara (Steven) Gilleland of Portland, by his grandchildren: Bradley, Laney, Justen, Johnathan, Lexie, Juli, Brooklyn, and Megan, and by his great grandchild: Wilder.
Services have been entrusted to Robertson County Funeral Home.
