Medford Keith

William Medford Keith, 91, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2023, at The Waters of Springfield. Graveside services will be conducted Monday May 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Owens Chapel Cemetery with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside service on Monday.

Mr. Keith was born November 5, 1931, in Springfield. He was President and co-owner of Keith Circle Steel, was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and was a former member of Western Star Lodge in Springfield. Mr. Keith enjoyed picture painting, and both bird and wildlife watching. He was preceded in death by his wife: Jean Groves Keith, by his father: L.O. Keith, by his mother: Goldie West Fuqua, by his brothers: Biddie, Maxie, and Don Keith, and by his sister: Margie Keith Simmons.

Mr. Keith is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Kathy Keith of Springfield, by his daughter and son-in-law: Jo Keith Hunter and Charles Hunter of Whites Creek, and by his sisters: Marie Keith Choate of Springfield, and Opal Keith Rush of Houston, TX.
