Mayre Jane (Orders) Lawrence

Mayre Jane Orders Lawrence, 99, of Franklin, KY, and formerly of Orlinda, passed from this life on Friday November 3, 2023, at her home. Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Williams Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Mrs. Lawrence was born February 9, 1924, in Morganton, NC, to the late Paul Timothy and Ruth Irene Bobbitt Orders. She was a retired production line worker with Auburn Hosiery Mill and was a member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Everett Gossett Lawrence, and by her sisters: Geneva Glenn Wilson and Pauline McGhinnis.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Rhett J. and Vickie Lawrence of Bowling Green, KY, and Gregg T. Lawrence of Franklin, KY, and by her three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
