Mason Eugene Douglas

Mason Eugene Douglas, 74, of Springfield, passed away on Monday September 19, 2022, at The Waters of Springfield. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Briggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with Kerry Todd, Bob Toth, Kyle Hamill, James Eidson, Mike Brown, and Karey Hamill serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Douglas was born April 1, 1948, in Detroit, MI to the late Albert Eugene and Cordelia Otie Perry Douglas. He was a graduate of Goodlettsville High School and was retired from Kroger. Mr. Douglas was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam war. He loved metal detecting, dancing, going antiquing, and collecting clocks.

Mr. Douglas is survived by his partner: Dorothy Brewer of Springfield, by his son: Albert Eugene Douglas, and by his sister: Sherry Fudge of Goodlettsville.
