Mary Elaine Payne Hill departed this journey on Monday, July 5th, 2021 at the age of 63 years old at Sarah Cannon -Centennial Hospital.
She was born on July 10 1957 to the late Eddie Lee Payne and Effie Mae Payne in Sumner County.
She professed her life to Christ at a young age and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she later joined the youth choir as the Oak Grove “Little Oaks”. She also served on the kitchen committee, youth department and many other programs and events at Oak Grove. She graduated from White House High and received her Bachelors at Western Kentucky University.
She worked at the Red Cross, Sunday School Board & Suntrust Bank for many years until her health start declining. She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2014 and has been fighting this battle for a long time. She enjoyed traveling, music, spending time with family-friends & church. She was one of God’s strongest soldiers. Through is all she kept her faith. She was a loving caring mother, wife, grandmother, sister, friend and overall one of the sweetest people. She was strong independent and a true inspiration to everyone. She will truly be missed by many.

Sister, Frances L. Graves (John) of Elkton, KY. Eight brothers, Harry Lee Payne (Shirley) of Cottontown, TN, Elmer Payne (Kathy) of Bowling Green, KY, Leonard Ray Payne (Debora) of Cottontown, TN, Larry Payne (Vera) of Springfield, TN, Harrison Arneal Payne of Indianapolis, IN, Henry Payne of Seattle, Washington, the late James Eddie Payne of Indianapolis, IN, the late Ardell Payne of Franklin, KY and the late Charles Payne of Nashville, TN. Along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
