Mark Evans Obituary

Mark Steven Evans, 60, of Cross Plains, passed away on Thursday August 25, 2022, at his home. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday August 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the Cross Plains Cemetery with Reverend Rex Evans officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home

Mark was born November 30, 1961, in Russellville, KY. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and went on to receive his master’s degree. Mark was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a computer technologist, an honorary member of the National Corvette Club, and was of the Baptist faith. He was a car enthusiast that loved antique cars, corvettes, boats, planes, and trains. If it had a motor, he loved it. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, and he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Buford Evans.

Mark is survived by his wife of 36 years: Sheila Hunter Evans of Cross Plains, by his daughters: Heather Evans of Clarksville, Sarah (Josh Page) Evans of Cross Plains, by his mother: Maggie Capps Evans of Cross Plains, by his brother: Chuck Evans of Lebanon, and by his grandchildren: Hannah Evans, Adrian Evans, Skylar Evans, Serenity Page, Penelope Deese, Gracelynn Evans, and Molly Spivey.
