Lynda (Jackson) Boyte

Lynda Jackson Boyte, 76, of Clarksville, passed from this life on Thursday March 7, 2024, at Jubilee House in Clarksville. Lynda was born January 13, 1948, in Montgomery County, to the late William and Elsie Scebra Jackson. She was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School Class of 1966. Lynda was retired from furniture sales and was the co-owner of the former Yellow Gables Home Furnishings. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, boating and water skiing. Lynda loved her family and spending time together.

In addition to her parents, Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Wayne Boyte, who died in January of this year, by her brother: Eugene Jackson, and by her sister: Marie Smithson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons: Scott (Gena) Boyte of Nashville, and Michael (Stephen Caple) Boyte of Memphis, her grandchildren: Summer Boyte, Fielding Smith, and Parker Smith, her great grandchild: Braylan Smith, her brother: Mike Jackson of Clarksville,  and her sister: Helen Hall of Clarksville.

A private gathering of family and friends will be held in celebration of both Lynda and Rickey’s life.
