Lucille Nixon Obituary

Nettie Lucille Nixon, 84, of Ashland City, died Monday November 21, 2016 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday November 23rd at 3:30 p.m. in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Pastor Craig Cross officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nixon was born May 5, 1932 in Robertson County to the late James Matthew and Zelphia Jane Bryant Frazier. She had worked as a nurse aide and worked in assembly at the former Tappen in Springfield. Mrs. Nixon was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and she sculpted porcelain dolls.

Mrs. Nixon is survived by her husband of 66 years: Herman Nixon of Ashland City, daughter: Bernice Lucille Cook of Clarksville, sons: Bobby Joe Nixon of Springfield, Anthony Herman and Timothy Steven Nixon both of Ashland City, brother: Joseph Eugene Frazier of Ashland City, sister: Dorothy Sue Sandova of Ashland City, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren
