Louise (Reeves) Dodd

Mary Louise Dodd, age 97 of the Flewellyn Community in Springfield, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at NorthCrest Health. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Woodard, Bro. Patrick Nix, and Tim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with John Barry Dodd, Matthew Dodd, Brandon Dodd, Trent Dorris, Tony Dorris, Philip Doris, Justin Dorris, and Troy Dorris serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Dodd, Daniel Dodd, Corbitt Dorris, Jeff Dodd, Mike Dodd, Larry Fletcher, John Phillips, and the Deacons of Flewellyn Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10 AM until the hour of service.

Mrs. Dodd was born March 17, 1923 in Robertson County to the late William Draper and Maude Williams Reeves. She was a member of Flewellyn Baptist Church and was retired from Bellsouth where she worked as a switchboard trainer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rob Roy Dodd; a brother, Chester Reeves; and her sisters, Cornelia Clinard and Maxine Dodd.

She is survived by her brother, Harold Reeves of Springfield, and nephews, Tony Dorris, Trent (Lynda) Dorris, Alan (Martha) Dodd, and Barry (Pat) Dodd, all of Springfield.
