Loretta (Vaughn) Kennedy

Loretta Vaughn Kennedy, 64, of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Sunday January 30, 2022, at Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday February 8th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunn Cemetery in Cedar Hill. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Loretta was born December 24, 1957, in Dallas, TX. She was a member of Mt. Denson Cumberland Presbyterian Church and had worked as a Customer Service Rep. at Wal-Mart. Loretta loved gardening, driving the tractor on the farm, and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother: Mary King Vaughn.

Loretta is survived by her husband: Byron Clifford “Kip” Kennedy of Cedar Hill, by her son and daughter-in-law: Jeremy and Teresa Ayers of Cedar Hill, by her father: Raymond Vaughn of Columbia, by her brother: Thomas Vaughn of Columbia, and by her grandchildren: Kayleigh Ayers and Kinsley Hardin.
