Lizzie Mae Neblett, age 73 of Cedar Hill, departed this life on March 26, 2022 at NorthCrest Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Neblett, and her mother, Roberta Wright.

She was born March 7, 1949 in Cedar Hill. She professed her love and committed her life to Christ at an early age.

Lizzie Mae worked as a housekeeper and homemaker in her early years. When she wasn’t alongside her husband, she was dedicating her time caring for her home, children, and others. She spent many days cooking meals, gardening flowers, canning fresh vegetables, and welcoming strangers and loved ones into her home.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed a good cup of chili, morning coffee, and ghost adventures on television.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Gerald (Christina) Neblett of Cedar Hill, James (Sharon) Neblett of Adams, Troy (Kelly) Neblett of Springfield, and Stacy Neblett of Cedar Hill; as well as a daughter and caregiver, Erica (Tim) Neblett of Cedar Hill.

She’s preceded in death by three siblings, James Ray Wright, Michael Wright, and Harry Shannon. Of her remaining siblings, she has Robert (Wendy) Wright of Springfield, Delores (Jessie) McFadden of Rochester, NY, Clifford (Rochelle) Wright of Springfield, and Sylvia Wright of Springfield.

Special family to note, whom she spent most of her childhood and adulthood with include Willie Roy Wright, Brenda Wright, and Junior (Monaei) Wright. She had a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
