Leonard Earnest “L.E.” Mooneyhan Jr, age 77 of Springfield, TN died Friday January 24, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday January 27, 2020 at the Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Jesse McKee, Zeke McKee, Peyton McKee and Eagan McClelland serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Hopewell Baptist Church at 10 am until service time at 11 am on Monday.
Mr. Mooneyhan was born November 29, 1942 in Davidson County, TN to the late Leonard and Elizabeth Pyburn Mooneyhan Sr. His sister, Ann Norris also preceded him in death. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Truck Driver for UPS. L.E. loved farming, RVing and the Milldale CO-OP Coffee Club.
Mr. Mooneyhan is survived by his wife, Katherine “Kathy” Ragland Mooneyhan of Springfield; daughters, Beckie Mooneyhan and Kara Stevens both of Springfield; grandchildren, Jesse Mckee, Zeke Mckee, Peyton Mckee and Eagan McClelland and great grandchildren, Ella, Raz and Jude McKee.
