Leonard Douglas Spicer, 61, died Sunday December 28, 2025, at his home in Nashville. Leonard was born November 8, 1964, in Springfield, to the late Richard Edward and Janet Prete Spicer, Sr. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1982 and went on to receive his bachelors from MTSU and his masters in English from APSU. Leonard worked many years in the clerical field, was of the Catholic faith, and he enjoyed reading, painting, and listening to music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Regina Marie Spicer. Leonard is survived by his brothers: Richard Edward Spicer, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, and Joseph Augustine (Lisa Zangora) Spicer of Clarksville, by his sisters: Louise (Anthony) Stephson of Murfreesboro, and Josephine Elizabeth Spicer of Springfield, and by several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a time of visitation on Friday January 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home in Springfield.
