Larry Steven Parrish, 75, of the Owens Chapel community in Springfield, passed away on Tuesday July 30, 2024, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Larry was born December 19, 1948, in Russellville, KY, to the late James Albert and Ernestine Lowe Parrish. He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1967, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. Larry was a rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal System, and retired from the Springfield office with 30 years of service. He was a member of North Springfield Baptist Church, and he enjoyed woodworking.
Larry is survived by his daughter: Cynthia Parrish Crawford and husband Jason of White House, and by his grandchildren: Cassidy Brooke Crawford and Logan Jase Crawford both of White House.
