Larry Thomas Heatherly

Larry Thomas Heatherly, age 78 of Cedar Hill, passed from this life on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Bellwood Cemetery with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow with Tracy Ayers, Dylan Presler, David Traughber, Andrew Traughber, Dawson Traughber, and Levi Traughber serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Heatherly was born November 23, 1943 in Cross Plains to the late Thomas and Gladys Moses Heatherly. He was retired from the City of Springfield where he was an equipment operator and he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors doing things such as hunting, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Heatherly.

He is survived by his wife Linda Holt Heatherly of Cedar Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Tracy Ayers of Springfield; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Polly Heatherly of Springfield; grandchildren; Jenna Traughber, Taylor Presler, Debra Raye Heatherly, Ashley Duncan, and Kaleb Heatherly, 15 great grandchildren and number 16 to arrive in September.
