Kelsey Dionna Thaxton

Kelsey Dionna Thaxton, 23, of Springfield, passed from this life on Friday June 25, 2021, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Matt Driscol and Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Palestine Cemetery with Darrell Thaxton, Dalton Thaxton, Bobby Thaxton, Shane Claborn, Phillip Pentecost, Matthew Evitts, Ryan Bennett, and Mario Fierro serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Kelsey was born October 24, 1997, in Springfield. She was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 2016, where she was a member of the Beta Club. Kelsey worked as a claims adjuster for Quality Resource Management in White House, and she attended Grace Baptist Church in Springfield. She loved Elephants, riding horses, crafts, and her family. The highlight of her life was her daughter, Kaisley, and she was an excellent mother that loved her daughter very much. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sherry Thaxton, Dennis Wix, and Jesse Pentecost.

Kelsey is survived by her daughter: Kaisley Thaxton of Springfield, by her mother: Jessica Knight of Springfield, by her father and stepmother: Darrell and Tina Thaxton of Springfield, by her brother: Dalton Thaxton of Springfield, by her sister: Alayna Knight of Springfield, and by her grandparents: Dianne Eads of Springfield, Wayne Thaxton of Greenbrier, Randy and Tina Ellis of Springfield, and Lisa Kimberly of Adams.
